About Us

Our journey...

  • Notes in Time Singers is the choral project of All Primetimers, Inc. All Primetimers, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) charity and is registered as a non-profit by the Maryland Secretary of State. NotesinTimeSingers/All Primetimers earned a Silver level GuideStar rating.

  • Our members include beginning and experienced singers. Rehearsals take place via Zoom on Tuesday evenings and include coaching and other help as needed.  More advanced members provide help for beginners and singers who do not read music.

  • NotesinTimeSingers is also a Performing Choir featured in the Leisure World News

  • During the covid-19 pandemic, our performing choir remained open to all members of the community, including Alzheimer's and dementia persons, caregivers, friends, and neighbors.  We rehearse online as a virtual choir.  Our music includes show tunes, pop music and hopeful, uplifting songs. The tunes are memorable  and accessible to all singers.

  • During rehearsals or in person visits, we lead the residents in singing old, familiar, happy, upbeat songs that can be remembered by most participants.  In applicable seasons, we include holiday songs.  Over the years the response of the residents has been enthusiastic.

  • Since its formation, the Notes in Time Singers/All Primetimers continues to offer persons with dementia and their caregivers, hybrid opportunities to join with us in our sing-alongs or participating in the group music in person aided by experts who make such presentations on "Caring for the Caregiver" to benefit the well-being and supportive self-care tips to caregivers..

  • All Primetimers provides two main activities:

    • providing opportunities for persons with mild to moderate dementia and Alzheimer’s and offering them the experience and mood-building fellowship of singing in a performing choir, and

    • We make visits to offer sing-alongs or performances at nursing homes, memory care and long-term care residential facilities to boost morale, support memory and respite for the caregivers.

What We Do

  • We also provide essential care for caregivers. Most caregivers are unpaid family members or friends who suffer from serious health and financial issues resulting from the stress of caregiving. Many die before those for whom they care. We provide moments of relief from the worries of care.

  • Provide a visual sense of less dense text by widening the paragraphs horizontally and increasing the space between paragraphs.

  • Provide more contrast between the text and the background. This can be done by changing the text or background color.

  • Include a logo on this and other pages in a way that ties Notes in Time Singers to All Primetimers, Inc. The logo may be newly designed or a modification of the logo I recently provided.
